I will allow myself to open this topic again as I‘m very interested in people‘s oppinion of the veloce hdw after some time of using it.

Have you used it for downwind (sup or parawing)? Can anybody compare it to current Downwind foils from other brands? (code, KT, Axis, F-one)

I‘ve been using the veloce v3 M and L for wing and parawing and swell riding (lakes and almanarres) and was wondering if the hdw would be better. I‘m especially interested in the lowend. Is it better than the Veloce for the same size?

The new high camber foils from other brands seem to offer very good low-end. Can the hdw keep up?

we have one guy here that is using it in sup foiling veloce 1050 hdw, but he's so good he doesnt seem to suffer from the lack of maniability, i guess that is the major issue of this kind of downwind foil. You need to have a middle ground in light wind to have fun, the guy is very light too so the pumping doesnt seem to be a big issue for him, being a lighter rider make you get away with thing that could be a handicap for the regular guys weight.
For exemple the fact he is able to use a 1050 make him able to retain some maniability compared to a hdw 1200cm2 for exemple.

ps : he is around 65kg.
